RDP Not Working | Not listening the port 3389 in windows server...
3389 port not listening Allow this port (in and out) in Windows Firewall > Advanced settings. Restart the computer. Also check if Network Discovery is ON, that WORKGROUP is the same on both / all machines, and that the Network Card is set to Private (not Public). Is your Router forwarding Port 3389 to the specific PC? That's needed..3389 port
The "umrdpservice" and "termservice" services are running without any problems, but when using the "netstat" command, it shows that the server is not listening on port 3389, which is the standard RDP port. I've tried various solutions, but the problem has persisted for a year, even though I regularly update the system.3389rdp
I do not see anything in the logs that support AV is preventing the Remote Desktop Service service from listening on port 3389. I have checked AV System logs, Risk Logs, Scan Logs, Threat Logs, Traffic Logs and Packet Logs, Nothing stands out. Again, we kill this service and start it back up and it works for a couple of days.
