Kids Acting Out-west has been providing performance art programs for students in Ventura County since 1996. It is our goal for all students to maximize their potential in a fun, positive and non-judgmental environment in when they attend these acting classes. We offer “creative” performance art programs that are affordable to all. Click on the links below to learn more.

About Alina

Alina Cenal is a Cuban American performer, director, teacher and writer whose career extends over 35 years in television, theater, and film. Alina has created a one woman show “Words From a Cuban Father”: mambo, carnival, revolution, Fidel and my father, Miami, hotdogs, drag-queens, the circus, discos, Hollywood, fun music and dance highlight Cenal’s bilingual experience of being yanked from her native Cuba as a child and yearning to return. The strong presence of her proud father guides her through the American cultural landscape.

Thank you for all your hard work, time and effort in the recent production of The Lion King here at Oak Hills Elementary. Your patience and direction with our students definitely set the tone for a phenomenal performance. Under your careful guidance each child was able to shine. You touched the lives of our students in such a positive way. Parents, teachers, performers and office staff have done nothing but rave. Thank you again and we look forward to working with you again!
