The Ju 88H-1 was brought about by a requirement for an ultra long range reconnaissance aircraft in late 1942. It was produced by the Junkers Works at Merseburg from a combination of Ju 88D-1 and Ju88G-1 components. Danke, dov! I remember the LSP thread but good to have direct link to it. It also reminded me about the Ju 88 landing gear colour which is grey. Visited Gardermoen museum this Summer and saw the restored Ju 88 fuselage there. And the main landing gear. In real world it did not look like RLM 77 to me. I wonder if the tone is RLM 63 Grau like for Do 17? From the Dornier factory paint list ...
